For partners

Partner with Zeltis

We are building a self-custody money app for Europe and are choosing partners for every layer behind it. This page says what we look for, how we integrate and where we stand today.

Write to us What we look for

What we look for

Six layers, one partner and one backup for each

If you provide one of these in the EEA, we would like to hear from you.

Card issuing

A debit card that spends from the customer's wallet

  • Virtual consumer cards for the EEA, physical cards later
  • Tokenisation for phone wallets
  • Funding at the moment of payment, from a balance we confirm
  • Freeze, limits and spend controls by API
  • Decline reasons passed on, so the customer sees why
Euro accounts

A personal EUR IBAN in the customer's name

  • Named IBANs for consumers from an e-money or payment institution
  • SEPA transfers, in real time where available
  • Settlement into a euro e-money token, one to one
  • Status events for every incoming and outgoing transfer
Liquidity

Firm quotes for a small set of pairs

  • Quotes by API for euro and US dollar stablecoins, Bitcoin and Ether
  • Quote validity of 20 seconds or more
  • Same-day settlement
  • A spread we can show: the customer sees one all-in price
Identity verification

One check the customer passes once

  • Document and liveness check with EEA coverage
  • Sanctions and PEP screening with ongoing monitoring
  • A result the card and account partners can rely on
  • Clear failure reasons and a manual review path
Wallet infrastructure

Keys that stay with the customer

  • Two-party key management with one part on the customer's device
  • Key export and recovery that work without Zeltis
  • Bitcoin, Ethereum and the main compatible networks
  • Policy checks before signing, for transfer screening
Compliance and banking

The parts nobody sees

  • Screening of addresses and transactions on public ledgers
  • Travel Rule messaging for transfers between providers
  • Safeguarding and operating accounts with a credit institution
  • Transactional email and customer support tooling

How we integrate

Built so a partner can be connected in days

One adapter per layer

Each layer is an interface in our backend with a complete mock behind it. Connecting you means writing one adapter. The screens of the app do not change.

Sandbox first

We integrate against your sandbox and run our tests against it. Production is discussed only after that works.

Two providers per layer

We plan a primary and a backup for cards, accounts and liquidity, so that a change at one provider does not stop the service for customers.

Security you can inspect

Personal data is encrypted in the application before it is stored. Staff access needs two factors and follows roles. Every staff action is written to a log that shows any later change.

Where we stand. Zeltis SIA is a company in formation. It plans to apply to Latvijas Banka for authorisation as a crypto-asset service provider. Services are not available yet. We have no customers yet. The planned start is in Latvia, Spain and Portugal.

A few lines are enough: the layer, the countries you cover and how a sandbox can be reached.
