What you will get

The details are in your name, so you can use them to get paid and to pay. You move between euro and crypto when you choose.

Euro in: from a bank transfer to your wallet

You send euro to your account details. It arrives in your self-custody wallet as a euro stablecoin, one to one. In the app you will see each step with a status and a time:

• Euro transfer received.
• Checks passed.
• Adding to your wallet.

If something is held for a check, the app will say what is affected and what you can still do.

Euro out: to get paid and to pay

The same details work in the other direction. Euro leaves at one to one. If you hold another asset, you first exchange it to euro at one clear price and then send the euro out.

For everyday payments there is also the card.

Who will provide the euro account

The personal EUR IBAN will be provided by a partner e-money institution under its own terms. No partner has been announced yet. Its name and terms will be published before launch.

Is it a bank account? No. Zeltis is not a bank and will not hold deposits. Your balance sits in your own wallet, not with Zeltis.

Checks the law requires

You will verify your identity once before using the euro account: a document and a selfie. We will say what is needed and how long it takes before you start. Transfers will be screened, as at any payment company.

The partner institution can pause the euro account while it reviews something. If that happens, your crypto is still in your wallet.

What it will cost

Euro arrives and leaves at one to one. The planned exchange fee and the rest of the planned price list are on the fees page. The full price list will be published before launch and may still change.

Where it will be available

We plan to start in Latvia, Spain and Portugal and then add other countries of the European Economic Area. Availability will be limited to EEA residents at launch. Zeltis will not serve US persons or residents of sanctioned jurisdictions.

See it in the demo

The demo app shows simulated account details and lets you simulate an incoming euro transfer. No real money moves in it and the IBAN shown there is not a real one.
